THE DIE OF PURPOSE

Purpose, propósito, zweck, scop, but, syfte, akíd.
In all languages, it still means the same thing...and carries the same importance: A result, aim, goal of an action intentionally undertaken, or of an object brought into use or existence.
So the question 'what is purpose?' is solved, and inevitably gives birth to another question... 'What is my purpose?'
Everyone's life is driven by something; a problem, pressure, a painful memory, a belief; guilt, anger, fear, and their negative siblings. Pleasure, the need for approval, the need to succeed.
What drives your life?
Different people have different views on purpose. Most believe natural propensities may determine what sort of purpose a person needs to pursue, but freewill determines if the person pursues it. Another group believe that purpose is not fixed, but freely chosen (or not chosen) by individuals and can change through life.
Another group believe that God has an 'overlying' purpose and a certain purpose for each and every individual. The purpose is not fixed; after all God above all values freewill, He gives it. The 'overlying' purpose remains the same~ Sharing in His love. (I fall into this group).
Finding your purpose in life has it's benefits.
1. It defines clearly what you do and what you don't.
2. It concentrates your effort and energy on what's important.
3. Your values change. You fight for what you need, not what you want.
Focusing on ourselves will only reveal our intentions, we need to work with God to find our purpose.
